In a recent interview with Romania’s Rock FM, 5FDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory spoke about the band’s evolution between debut album, ‘The Way Of The Fist’ (2007) through to the bands latest effort ‘F8’.
The music evolved in some way and we got better as songwriters and connected to more people.
We have 24 mainstream Top 10 hits in America. For a rock band, that’s a huge number, especially at a time when American radio is not necessarily playing hard rock.So, if you look at it that way, then definitely this band came to the surface and started to break out from that little lane that heavy metal and hard rock was.

In the interview Zoltan also talks about the bands rise across Europe from playing small venues for just 1,500 people through to sold out arenas such as Wembley Arena. He attributes the bands success to coming back time after time to perform to audiences across Europe and anticipates that the band will return to the continent at least twice in the next two years.
He also discusses Five Finger Death Punch fan communites and how the fan base has come together on many occasions to support fellow fans wihin Groups and the bands work with Veterans and First Line Responders.

Five Finger Death Punch recently completed its Megadeathpunch European arena headliner Tour leg alongside Bad Wolves and Megadeth.
The bands eighth album release, F8 came out last week on 28 February 2020 and is currently vying for the top spot on album charts across the globe including the UK album chart. The band is on course for its highest UK chart position since 2015’s Got Your Six.
Five Finger Death Punch has just completed its 2020 European Tour and is preparing to launch its Spring U.S Tour in arenas across the United States in April and May 2020 with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills.
