Could 5FDP’s next album be most ambitious yet?
Five Finger Death Punch (5FDP) is gearing up for its tenth studio album, and guitarist Zoltan Bathory has given fans an exclusive update on the band’s progress.
In a recent interview with Abe on Audacy Check In, Bathory reflects on 20 years of 5FDP, the band’s creative process, and the power of a live rock show.
Bathory revealed that the band currently has around 25 songs and ideas in development. “We have about 25‑ish songs… and eventually we’ll chop them down to the ones that make the album,” he said. Several tracks already have vocals recorded, marking a significant step in the writing process.
Bathory also described some of the material as having a “soundtrack quality”, though he clarified that the project is not a concept album.
