Zoltan Bathory caught up with Rock Antenne on the bands recent sold out run across Germany as part of the bands Megadeathpunch tour in Europe.

“This going to be one of the most important records in our careers. It’s that evolution that we wanted and it happened organically.”
Zoltan Bathory – Five Finger Death Punch
In a recent interview with Germany’s Rock Antenne, Zoltan speaks about the the evolution of 5FDP in Europe and how crowds on the Megadeathpunch Tour were the most engertic yet as well as anything and everything you wanted to know about latest release F8.
On the pressure when making a new record, Zoltan says if there is any pressure, it is self-inflicted, “You want to progress and put out a better record than the previous one. I would say it’s a challenge. It’s a challenge to come up with something that still sounds like you, still the core sound of Five Finger Death Punch in this case, but at the same time you have to progress. It can’t be forced or artificial.”
“Five Finger Death Punch have a sound. We are rarely, if ever, compared to some other band. Somehow we carved out a sound that is ours and we can’t really leave that behind because we are who we are, but at the same time you have to always bring something new.”
