Five Finger Death Punch has issued a statement ahead of its show in Hamburg this evening (Tuesday 4 February 2020) to update fans on Jason Hook.
The lead guitarist, who recently underwent emergency gall bladder surgery, will step away from the bands curent European Tour leg in order to create additional recovery time.
The band will continue the remaining tour dates across Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria with British guitarist Andy James handling lead guitar duties.
An accomplished guitarist in his own right, James is a multi-instrumentalist and guitar virtuso. Bands he has been in include Sacred Mother Tongue and Fields of the Nephilim.

Five Finger Death Punch is currently embarking on its biggest European arena headline tour to date with Megadeth and Bad Wolves appearing at the majority of dates as special guests.
The European leg of the world our runs throughout January and February 2020. US fans can also look forward to a Spring U.S Tour in arenas across the United States later this year with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills.
