Five Finger Death Punch vocalist Ivan Moody talks to Loudwire Nights host Toni Gonzalez about the band’s new album F8.
I really wanted to get back to the Wrong Side of Heaven mentality where there were no barriers and the sky was the limit and that was our music is all about.

On latest single release, A Little Bit Off, he explains “It’s close to my heart. It’s one of those tracks where it was very humbling for me to write it. It’s one of those things where I didn’t put any special twists on it, there as no trying too hard. It came very naturally.”
“It’s based around common day for any human being on this planet. I call it dream energy when you wake up in the morning, you get out of bed, you stub your toe and from there the whole day just seems to role into a big pile of crap. You gotta lay back and you’ve just got to say just say eff it.”
On the Wrong Side of Heaven & The Righteous Side of Hell Volumes 1 & 2 double-album release he talks about how in hindisght he wishes it had been condensed to just one album, “Being completely honest, I still think that Wrong Side should have been one album. “
“I think if we had trimmed the fat and just had one amazing record, it would have meant more value to the people who buy it and listen to it – our fans.”

Five Finger Death Punch completed its 2020 European Tour in February 2020 and is currently preparing to launch its Spring U.S Tour in arenas across the United States in April and May 2020 with specialist guests Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills.
