Remember circa 2012, when you would login to Facebook and your timeline would be completely blown up with ‘Jukebox’ Ivan Moody posts? We certainly do! Well, there’s a chance those days could return very soon because Ivan Moody has rejoined Facebook with an official VERIFIED page. That’s right folks. No fakes here. The real Ivan.
A post on the official Five Finger Death Punch Facebook page reads, “Ivan has officially joined Facebook…Head on over and give his page a follow. Reminder to only interact with pages that have the official verification mark. https://www.facebook.com/IvanLMoodyOFFICIAL“
This means that going forwards, unless a reply, comment or message comes from Ivan’s verified page on Facebook (or his verified Instagram and TikTok pages) then it’s not him you’re speaking to.
As ever, please be vigilant as fake accounts, whether it’s posing as band members, managers, agents, etc all still exist, and unfortunately continue to take advantage of innocent Five Finger Death Punch fans just like you. The real band will never speak with you on direct messages to ask you for money, ask you to join an exclusive fanclub or, tell you to WhatsApp or Telegram them.
The best thing to do is block and report any fake accounts. If you flag them to any of the 5FDP fanpages we reguarly speak to each other and can help you get more reports of the fake account and make others aware so they don’t get caught out.
