‘A Little Bit Off’ is officially double platinum!

Five Finger Death Punch have officially earned a major milestone, with their track “A Little Bit Off” now certified multi-platinum in the United States.
Originally released on the band’s 2020 album F8, the song stands out in the Five Finger Death Punch catalogue for its stripped-back sound and unusually reflective tone. Written and released during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, “A Little Bit Off” resonated widely with fans for its honest depiction of isolation and not feeling like yourself in uncertain times.
The official music video reinforces that concept, featuring Ivan Moody in surreal, awkward everyday situations across a quiet Las Vegas backdrop, reflecting the song’s off-kilter humour and underlying sense of disconnection. It struck a chord during lockdown-era life, helping the track gain sustained streaming momentum in the years that followed.
The video is described as “a snapshot of unprecedented times” and sees frontman Ivan Moody wandering the deserted streets of Las Vegas amid the coronavirus lockdown.
The idea of the music video for ‘A Little Bit Off’ was conceptualised by 5FDP guitarist and founder Zoltan Bathory who back in 2020 at the time of the track’s release said: “Our new record, ‘F8’, came out right at the exact moment COVID-19 smashed into western society and (naturally) all attention was diverted to the pandemic. It placed us in a difficult situation, where on one hand this is probably the best album we have ever made.”
“On the other, it felt insensitive to promote a record on full-tilt boogie while people were dying all across the world, businesses closed down, and the economy went face down in a ditch. “
“Since it affects all public events, and tours are cancelled for who knows how long, artists also became victims of the fallout. So we decided to make this video a snapshot of the unprecedented times and underline it with some humor to at least lighten the overall gloomy vibes. However, here we are today ready to release it… but thinking once again … is it insensitive to debut the video now that the world is on fire? I guess this will turn out to be the anthem for 2020… We are all ‘a little bit off today.’”
That long-term popularity has now pushed the single into multi-platinum status, marking one of the band’s biggest streaming-era achievements to date.
The certification further strengthens Five Finger Death Punch’s catalogue of gold and platinum releases and underlines their continued popularity.
Alongside the certification news, fans are also gearing up for new Five Finger Death Punch music, with the upcoming single “Eye of the Storm” set to arrive on Friday 15 May 2026. The track is expected to mark the next chapter in the band’s evolving sound while staying true to the heavy, melodic style that has defined their success. Fans can listen to a teaser of the track here.
The milestone comes as anticipation continues to build around the band’s upcoming live schedule, including major international touring across 2026 and 2027.
With special guests Lamb of God and Bleed From Within, the band’s 20th Anniversary World Tour will hit the UK and Europe in 2027, alongside an already packed run of global dates which also includes North America.
Fans can expect a setlist spanning the band’s biggest anthems, deep cuts, and potentially new material with their tenth studio album already in the works.
Get ready Knuckleheads, 5FDP’s next chapter is already shaping up to be one of their biggest yet.
