Eye of the Storm is storming the Billboard charts in America.

Five Finger Death Punch has achieved another major career milestone, earning their 18th No. 1 single on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their latest anthem, ‘Eye Of The Storm.’
The achievement extends the band’s record for holding the longest streak of consecutive No. 1 hits in the 45-year history of the chart.
‘Eye Of The Storm’ will appear on the band’s upcoming 10th studio album, ‘Legacy.’ The digital version arrives on Friday 31 July 2026, while CD, vinyl and cassette editions will be released on Friday 18 September 2026.
The latest Billboard milestone comes alongside further recognition of Five Finger Death Punch’s catalogue. Previous No. 1 hits ‘Welcome To The Circus’ and ‘Darkness Settles In’ are now officially RIAA-certified Gold, while 2015 tracks ‘Jekyll And Hyde’ and ‘Wash It All Away’ have achieved Platinum certifications. ‘A Little Bit Off’ has reached double Platinum status.

Five Finger Death Punch reflect on two decades with ‘Legacy’
Five Finger Death Punch recently revealed details for their upcoming 10th studio album, ‘Legacy,’ a record that looks back on the band’s journey while celebrating what comes next.
“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests,” declares guitarist Zoltan Bathory. “It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”
He explains, “What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn’t make it alone. We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other’s lives. That’s an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later.”
Vocalist Ivan Moody continues, “At the same time, Legacy isn’t about looking backward. 20 years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.”
He finishes, “Our philosophy has always been that this journey doesn’t come with a self-imposed ceiling. Every goal we’ve reached simply revealed another horizon beyond it. We never believed the sky was the limit; if anything, it’s where the true journey begins. Here’s to our shared legacy.”
‘De Oppresso Liber’ released
Five Finger Death Punch have also released their brand new song, ‘De Oppresso Liber.’
Speaking about the track, Bathory said:”‘De Oppresso Liber’ is more than just a motto. It’s a calling. It’s a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. Throughout human history, there have always been people who were drawn to accept that responsibility. This song is our way of paying respect to that mindset.”
“De Oppresso Liber” joins “Eye Of The Storm” on ‘Legacy’, which features the following tracklist:
- “Legacy”
- “De Oppresso Liber”
- “Eye Of The Storm”
- “Nails In The Coffin”
- “In Time”
- “Unscathed”
- “Joke’s On Me”
- “Everybody Lies”
- “Shelter”
- “Scapegoat”
The album will be available in multiple physical formats, including standard CD, standard vinyl, indie exclusive editions, cassette, picture disc and retailer-exclusive vinyl variants.
Five Finger Death Punch celebrate 20 Years with World Tour
The Billboard achievement arrives as Five Finger Death Punch prepare to celebrate 20 years as a band with their 20th Anniversary World Tour.
The first leg of the tour will take place across North America this summer with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire, before the band heads to the UK and Europe in early 2027 for arena shows with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within.
The tour celebrates the band’s journey from their 2005 formation and 2007 debut album, The Way Of The Fist, to becoming global arena headliners. Fans can expect material from Legacy alongside classic anthems and the No. 1 hits that have defined Five Finger Death Punch’s career over the past two decades.
Five Finger Death Punch are also continuing their long-standing commitment to giving back. As part of the 2026 North American tour, a portion of ticket sales will benefit high-performance programmes supporting U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for international competition ahead of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
Five Finger Death Punch’s 2027 UK and European tour leg with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within will begin in Manchester on Saturday 16 January 2027, and will see the band perform across 21 cities before concluding in Helsinki.
