In this segment, the band explain how Charlie came to join the band originally sharing they were aware of his amazing online videos and talent long before he became a member – with Ivan Moody saying he only has one word to describe Charlie ‘One of the greatest fxcking drummers of all time!” and we also learn that it was actually original drummer Jeremy Spence who recommended Charlie for the gig!
Elsewhere in the segment Charlie reflects on his own journey from starting drums at the tender age of two (!) before continuing studying the instrument right through to earning a Masters degree in it. He also shares that as a young kid he was blown away by the production of arena stage shows of the likes of Queensrÿche, Def Leppard and Skid Row. It’s an episode you don’t want to miss!
