Watch as DragonForce‘s Herman Li, Sam Totman and Alicia Vigil attempt to write a Five Finger Death Punch song in five minutes, on Twitch. Will Five Finger Death Punch find this funny or will they death punch Sam for this?

DragonForce has recently launched a new Twitch series where they attempt to create songs in the style of other bands within a five minute time limit. Fans on the Twitch chat also input stylistic and lyrical ideas to help the band along the way.
Past episodes include the likes of Nightwish and Sabaton with very entertaining results but in their first video of October, they selected Five Finger Death Punch as their next challenge and rest assured there’s plenty of monster energy references, swearing – plus rainbows and My Little Pony.
Sam Totman takes on the role of Zoltan Bathory because “he started it and probably has more money so I’ll be him” but acknowledges that “Jason Hook is a bit hunkier.”

Now obviously this is all done in good taste (and is frankly hilarious) and the two bands are in fact good friends. Herman Li remarks in the video that his guitar solos on Maximum Overload were actually recorded on Zoltan Bathory’s yatcht and 5FDP once opened for DragonForce back in the Inhuman Rampage days.
Herman Li reckons Zoltan will be calling him to purchase a copy of the Master piece song that DragonForce has written… but it remains to be seen whether Zoltan will round up the Five Finger guys to do a DragonForce, power metal styled song in five minutes as “pay back”…
