This week Ivan Moody continues on his mission to find a friend who’ll teach him how to play the guitar with calls to Doc Coyle of Bad Wolves and Brian ‘Head’ Welch of Korn.
5FDP’s Ivan Moody isn’t giving up just yet in his quest to learn guitar during lockdown, tapping further into his exclusive black list of contacts to find someone (anyone!) to give him lessons.
So far we’ve seen Moody tap up an allstar list of players featuring everyone from Satchel to Matt Heafy in a bid to get lessons to no avail so far. During the process he’s endured his fair share of backhanded compliments. He’s also been met with some cynicism from a player (or several!) leaving us wondering if Ivan will ever find the teacher he’s looking for.
Episode seven features Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves) who takes some time out of his extremely busy schedule to talk about organising some lessons with Ivan.
Whilst episode eight sees Brian ‘Head’ Welch (Korn) who is also one of Ivan Moody’s personal idols offer some tips and tricks. Judging by the video, if Moody can master Head’s riffs he may well get some more lessons. Could Ivan have finally found his breakthrough guitar teacher?
