Music Week, is reporting that Five Finger Death Punch has made the final shortlist in the AIM Music Awards 2020.
The Best Live Act award, which was determined by public vote, saw over 19,000 votes cast for more than 54 bands with just five bands making the final shortlist – including Five Finger Death Punch. The band are no strangers to the AIM Music Awards having previously been up for the Best Live Act on two occasions in 2014 and 2016.
The band now goes on to join fellow acts Ayanna Witter-Johnson, The Darkness, Red Rum Club and, The Reytons on the final shortlist for Best Live Act.
This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Association Of Independent Music has announced that its Independent Music Awards will be presented via a virtual ceremony. Before lockdown, the tenth anniversary edition of the event was originally set to take place at The Roundhouse in London in September.
An online ceremony will now be broadcast on Wednesday 12 August 2020 where the winners of all of the categories will be revealed.
