Five Finger Death Punch has officially announced their tenth studio album, ‘Legacy,’ alongside the release of a brand-new single, ‘De Oppresso Liber.’
The announcement marks a major milestone for the band as they enter their 20th anniversary era, reflecting on two decades of global success, touring, and chart dominance.
‘Legacy’ album release dates confirmed
The upcoming 5FDP album will be released in two formats:
- Digital release: Thursday 31 July 2026
- Physical release (CD, vinyl, cassette): Thursday 18 September 2026

Band reflect on two decades of ‘Legacy’
Speaking on the new album, 5FDP founder and guitarist Zoltan Bathory described ‘Legacy’ as a reflection of the band’s journey:
“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and ‘Legacy’ is exactly what the title suggests.”
He added that the record represents not only the band’s history, but also the connection built with millions of fans worldwide over the past 20 years.
Vocalist Ivan Moody also emphasised the forward-looking nature of the record:
“Twenty years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.”
New Single “De Oppresso Liber” Out Now
The brand-new single ‘De Oppresso Liber’ is available now across all streaming platforms, accompanied by an official music video.
Bathory explained the meaning behind the track: “It’s a calling. It’s a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves.”
The release follows the success of the band’s previous single ‘Eye of the Storm,‘ which continues to climb rock radio charts and has already amassed millions of streams and video views.

20th Anniversary World Tour
The band’s 20th Anniversary World Tour, which was previously announced, continues to build anticipation ahead of the album cycle and will feature a full career-spanning setlist.
The North American leg begins in June 2026, before continuing across the United States and Canada through October. The UK and European arena run follows in January and February 2027, with special guests including Lamb of God and Bleed From Within on the European dates.
